Day 01
Car drive from HoChiMinh city to CaiBe. Boat trip on Mekong river to visit CaiBe floating wholesale market and farmers houses. Visit to tropical fruit islands and lunch in a bonsai garden. Car drive further south to CanTho city. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Victoria CanTho (4 star ).

Day 02
Visit to NinhKieu port and CanTho central market and boat ride in CaiRang floating retail market, the busiest one in South East Asia. After lunch car drive via LongXuyen to ChauDoc province. Stop on the way at Thot Not and board a small boat cruising along tiny canals to Bang Lang stork sanctuary . Arrive in ChauDoc in late afternoon. Climb the sacred Sam mountain and enjoy sunset view from the mountain top where you can see the Cambodian border. Overnight in ChauDoc at Victoria ChauDoc hotel (4 star).

Day 03
Boat excursion on the right branch of the Mekong river (the TransBassac). Visit to a Cham weaving village and their magnificient mosque and other floating and fishing villages. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon ChauDoc city tour by bicycle drawn pedicab visiting Lady Chua Xu pagoda, Thoai Ngoc Hau temple and local villages. Overnight in ChauDoc at Victoria ChauDoc.

Day 04
Visit to ChauDoc local market and return to HoChiMinh city via Sadec with visit to the beautiful Sadec flower garden and Kien An Cung pagoda. Overnight in HoChiMinh city. Single Supplement £95 per person.

Boat cruise on the Nang river to Puong Cave and visit to Cho Tau minority market. Climb up the CamThuong hill to Dao village (6km trek). Picnic lunch at local house. Visit to Tau and Cam villages. Overnight at CongQuynh hotel.

Day 01
Hanoi - BacNinh - Pho Hien - Water Puppet village - HaiPhong Morning drive to Bac Ninh province, the cradle of Vietnamese music and drama. On arrival ride a horse-drawn cart along country roads to Ding Bang village communal House to enjoy Quan Ho folk songs performed by local villagers in their colourful Northern Vietnam traditional dresses. Afternoon drive to Pho Hien old village, known as “sister city” of charming HoiAn ancient town. Visits in Pho Hien will include traditional houses and temples, a 400 year old longan tree, a 19th century Cathedral and the village market where you will have the chance to taste the famous longan fruit cakes once offered only to Kings. Drive to HaiDuong, birth place of the art of water puppetry in Vietnam. Here after enjoying a water puppet performance you can meet the local artists and artisans and participate to a celebration of flying lanterns for good luck. Overnight in HaiPhong at Royal Garden Harbour view hotel.

Day 02

HaiPhong – CatBa (B) Board a hydrofoil for CatBa island, where you can visit one of Vietnam’s well preserved national parks. A motorbike tour will take you around the island, exploring the secrets of Hospital Cave, Trung Trang tunnels. Overnight in the island at Prince hotel.

Day 03
CatBa- Halong Bay ( B,L,D) The next 24 hours are a unique experience as you board and sail deep into Halong Bay, Unesco World Heritage site, soaking up the tranquillity of more than three thousands islands. Morning boat cruise from CatBa island to Halong. Welcome drink and seafood lunch will be served onboard when you embark the Dragon’s Pearl at noon. The afternoon cruise will take you to see amazing karsts appearing in different shapes such as the Lion, the Tea pot, to name just a few. Stop to visit The Three Kingdom cave, the Human Head island and the Surprise cave. Dinner on the deck at sunset, relax under the starlit sky then retire to the comfort of your cabin. Overnight onboard.

Day 04
Halong-Hanoi (B) In early morning you can enjoy a dip in a quiet firth of the bay. Another cruise in the bay will take you to Titop, Soi Siem mini beaches, Finger, Swan and Fighting Cocks islands. Disembark at noon. Car return to Hanoi with a stop at Dong Trieu ceramic village. Single Supplement £95 per person.

Day 01
Saturday evening transfer to Hanoi railway station for departure to LaoCai on the Chinese border by Victoria train. Overnight on train sleeper.

Day 02
Early morning arrival in LaoCai. Breakfast at a local restaurant. Drive to Muong Hum Sunday ethnic market, a spectacular kaleidoscope of colourful dresses. This is still a functional market where the ethnic people from miles around come to buy food, clothing, footwear, agricultural tools, animals and household equipment. Meet with H’Mong, Ha Nhi, Red Zao and Zay minorities. Afternoon drive to Sapa with lunch en route. Overnight at Victoria Sapa hotel.

Day 03
Morning drive to the small town of Ta Phin, home of the Black H’Mong, Zay and Red Zao minorities. Picnic Lunch during visits. Afternoon drive to LaoChai from where we start a trek by descending into a rice-terraced valley towards isolated villages of the H’Mong and the Zay. Return to Sapa for overnight at Victoria Sapa hotel.

Day 04
Depart from Sapa to Coc Ly Tuesday market dominated by the Flower H’Mongs in their distinctive multicoloured dresses. Take a boat cruise on Chay river stopping at a riverside cave and Trung village to meet the Tay minorities. Picnic lunch. Disembark at Bao Nhai bridge. Car transfer to Lao Cai train station for overnight Victoria train to Hanoi. Overnight on train.

Day 05

TREKKING IN CENTRAL HIGHLANDS

Day 01
Pleiku-Kontum-Konkotu ( L,D ) On arrival at Pleiku airport, transfer to Kontum province (50 km ). Visit to Kontum Monastery with its tribal exhibition and the local wooden Cathedral built in 1918. Car transfer to Kon Jri for a 10 km trek through local villages, forests, rivers and cassava plantations. Picnic lunch by the Dakbla river. Boat ride downstream to a remote hamlet, home of the Bahnar ethnic village. Walk to Konkotu village for overnight at Long Houses. Evening optional ethnic dance performances around a bonfire. Dinner and overnight in Konkotu.

Day 02
Konkotu-Kontum (B,L,D) Morning walk around the village visiting local people houses on stilts, a local church and a primary school. Trek over forested hills to Kon Chri village (6km). After a picnic lunch, continue to trek another 6 km through villages and rice paddies to the spectacular Kon Klo suspension bridge. Car return to Kontum. Dinner and overnight at Kontum hotel.

Day 03
Kontum-KonChro-Yangnam (B,L,D) Car transfer to Pleiku, home town of the Jarai hill tribe. Short visit to the village then drive down the Mang Yang pass to Yangnam. Picnic lunch en route. Trek through many villages and cultivated gardens of Bahnar people. Dinner and overnight at a house on stilts in Yangnam. Optional gong dancing show at the village communal House.

Day 04
Yangnam- Pleiboum ( B,L,D) Morning trek through dense bamboo forests to H’Nga (12km). Board a pirogue boat on the Krong Pa river to Plei Boum village. Picnic lunch on the bank of the river. Afternoon explore the village and there is a possibility to participate to local villagers’ sport games. Dinner and overnight at a local house.

Day 05
Pleiboum-Pleiku (B,L,D) Morning discover the secrets of grave statues standing in lines at the Jarai tribe’s tomb house of the village. Car transfer to Plei Kia village for an elephant ride across paddy fields and streams. Picnic lunch under a canopy of leaves by La Nhi falls. Car transfer to Pleiku. Dinner and overnight at a local people’s house.

Day 06
Pleiku (B) Transfer to Pleiku airport for flight to your next destination. Single supplement £95.
