Day 01 Departure on scheduled flight from Heathrow to Ho Chi
Minh City.
Day 02 On arrival at Ho Chi Minh airport you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. An afternoon city tour will
include an orientation tour of the main boulevards of old
Saigon including Notre Dame Cathedral and the splendid
Post Office and ending with a visit to bustling Ben Thanh
market. Overnight at Continental hotel (3star).
Day 03 A memorable excursion takes you to the exotic Cao Dai
Temple at Tay Ninh where you will view the colourful
midday service before continuing to the famous Cu Chi
tunnels to experience how the Viet Cong lived underground.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 04
Transfer to airport for morning flight to Danang. Visit
the famous Cham Museum with its collection of relics from
the Cham Kingdom before continuing to the Marble Mountains
to climb Water Mountain and explore the cave pagodas. Car
transfer to HoiAn ancient town. Enjoy a walking tour on
the old streets of HoiAn. Late afternoon drive over the
Pass of Clouds to the cultural city of Hue. Overnight at
HuongGiang hotel (3star).
Day 05
Morning boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda
built on the banks of the river. Visit the Imperial
Citadel and view the remaining pavilions which are being
carefully restored before driving to the Mausoleums of Tu
Duc and Khai Dinh.
Day 06
Transfer to airport for morning flight to Hanoi. On
arrival drive to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Overnight at HalongBay hotel (3star).
Day 07 Enjoy a leisurely boat trip through the bay stopping
to explore some of the many islands, caves and grottoes.
Return to Hanoi following a lunch on board of freshly
caught seafood. Overnigth at Galaxy hotel.
Day 08
A full day city tour includes Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the
lotus-shaped One-Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature
which was the site of Vietnam's first university, Hoan
Kiem Lake in the heart of Hanoi, Ngoc Son Temple which is
on an island in the lake and the bustling Old Quarter with
its narrow tube houses and 36 streets named after the
products that are sold there.
Day 09 At leisure until transfer to Hanoi airport.
