Day 01
Departure from Heathrow. Scheduled flights to Hanoi .
Day 02 HANOI ( D )
Arrival in Hanoi, meeting with our representative and
transfer to Thien Thai 3 star hotel. A Hanoi city tour
will take you to the Temple of Literature, HoanKiem Lake
in the heart of Hanoi, NgocSon Temple which is on an
island in the lake. Evening welcome dinner at a Vietnamese
restaurant with traditional music. Overnight in Hanoi at
Thien Thai 3* hotel.
Day 03 MAICHAU ( B,L )
Morning drive to picturesque Mai Chau nestled on the
valley floor surrounded by soaring mountains. Visit the
village of White Thai ethnic and lunch in a charming long
house. Short trek among beautiful green valleys and
mountains. Late afternoon return to Hanoi. Overnight at
Thien Thai hotel.
Day 04 CATBA ( B,L )
Morning drive to Haiphong city where you will board a
hydrofoil to CatBa island, one of Vietnam's well preserved
national parks. Lunch at local restaurant in CatBa. A
motorbike tour will take you around the island, exploring
the secret Hospital cave and TrungTrang tunnels. Trekking
in CatBa forest with guide. Overnight at Prince hotel (2
star).
Day 05 HALONG ( B,L,D ) Morning boat trip to Halong and board the Huong Hai
junk at noon. The next 24 hours are a unique experience as
you board a boat and sail deep into Halong Bay, a UNESCO
World Heritage site, soaking up the tranquillity of more
than three thousand islands. Explore some of the many
caves and grottoes, sea bathing on Titop white sandy
beach. Seafood lunch on board. Evening fishing and enjoy
the beautiful sunset of Halong Bay. Dinner and overnight
on board the comfortable HuongHai junk.
Day 06 HALONG ( B,L )
Watch the sun rise in Halong Bay and visit to the most
beautiful caves of ThienCung and DauGo. Return to Hanoi
following a lunch on board. Visit to the famous DongTrieu
pottery village on the way. Evening water puppet show.
Overnight in Hanoi at Thien Thai hotel.
Day 07 HANOI ( B,L)
Day at leisure or shopping. Lunch at hotel. Evening
transfer to Hanoi railway station for departure to Hue.
Reunification Express Train. Overnight on train sleeper.
Day 08 HUE ( B,L )
On arrival in Hue you will be transferred to L’Indochine
hotel (2 star). After lunch, you will enjoy a guided city
tour of romantic Hue including a cyclo ride passing by
Dong Khanh secondary school, Truong Tien bridge, DongBa
market then to the Imperial city. Overnight in Hue at
3* Asia hotel.
Day 09 HUE ( B,L )
Morning boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda
built on the banks of the river. Lunch at local
restaurant. Afternoon car trip to visit the Mausoleums of
the Emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Overnight at
Asia hotel.
Day 10 HOIAN ( B,L )
Drive to Danang via the breathtaking HaiVan pass. Stop at
the Marble Mountains to climb Water Mountain and explore
the cave pagodas before visiting Cham Museum with its
collection of relics from the Cham Kingdom. Car transfer
to the ancient town of HoiAn where the mix of Japanese and
Chinese architecture reflects its past history as an
important trading port. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Overnight in HoiAn at Vinh Hung hotel (2 star).
Day 11 KONTUM ( B,L )
Morning depart for Kontum with stop en route for visit to
Chien Dang Cham temple. Picnic lunch on top of Violak
pass. Continue to Kontum with stop at Kon Bil village of
Sdra minority people. Arrive in Kontum in late afternoon.
Overnight at Dakbla guest house.
Day 12 KONTUM ( B,L )
Morning drive to Kon Jri via Kon Klo suspension bridge.
From Kon Jri take a trekk through villages, over forested
hills, passing various slopes and swinging bridges,
cassava/sugar plantations. Picnic lunch at the upper of
Dakbla river. Relax and possibility of swimming. Take a
boat ride downstream to a hamlet of Bahnar minority. Short
walk in Konkotu village and visit to some local people’s
homes. Return to town and visit the villages of Plei To
Nghia and KonHngor Kotu. Evening enjoy the gong show and
traditional ethnic dance. Overnight at Dakbla guest house.
Day 13 BANMETHUOT ( B,L,D ) Morning visit to the Seminary, Museum and the wooden
cathedral. Drive to Lak Lake. On arrival, check in at long
houses built on stilts. At leisure. Dinner and overnight
in Lak village.
Day 14 NHATRANG ( B,L)
Board a rowing pirogue crossing Lak lake to Jun village
where you will see M’nong people’s daily life. Elephant
ride along the shore back to Lak lake. Check out and drive
to Nhatrang. Arrive in the evening. Overnight in Nha Trang
at Yasaka hotel ( 3star).
Day 15 NHATRANG ( B,L )
Day at leisure in NhaTrang for sun/seabathing and optional
water sports. Lunch at hotel. Overnight in NhaTrang at
Yasaka hotel.
Day 16 DALAT ( B,L )
Drive to Dalat highland, the former French hill station
via Ngoan Muc pass. Visit to beautiful Tuyen Lam lake,
pine forests and the colourful Dalat central market. Lunch
during visits. Overnight in Dalat at Golf 3 hotel (3
star).
Day 17 HOCHIMINH ( B,L )
Drive down south to HoChiMinh city via BaoLoc to visit the
impressive Dambri waterfall and tea & coffee plantations.
Lunch in Bao Loc. Late afternoon arrival in Saigon and
check-in at Continental hotel. Rest of the day is at
leisure. Overnight at Continental hotel (3 star)
Day 18 TAYNINH-CUCHI ( B,L )
A memorable excursion takes you to the exotic Cao Dai
Temple at Tay Ninh where you will view the colourful
midday service before continuing to the famous Cu Chi
tunnels. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return to Saigon.
Overnight at Continental hotel.
Day 19 MEKONG DELTA ( B,L,D )
Morning Saigon orientation tour including Notre Dame
Cathedral, The Splendid Post office and BenhThanh market.
Then car transfer to VinhLong on the Mekong Delta where
you will enjoy a boat trip along the canals to one of the
many small islands to visit a farmer's smallholding. Lunch
en route. Dinner and overnight in VinhLong at local
people’s house built on the river.
Day 20 MEKONG DELTA ( B,L )
An early morning boat trip to enjoy CaiBe colourful
floating market. Lunch in a bonsai garden . Return to
Saigon with stopover in Mytho for visits to DongTam snake
farm and Vinh Trang pagoda. Evening at leisure. Overnight
at Continental hotel.
Day 21
At leisure or shopping. Transfer to airport for departure.
