In between the 2 river journeys, a road trip to the sleepy Kampot town and tranquil Kep beach will add charm to this luxurious cruise tour. At the end a guided tour to Angkor Temples will delightfully complete the experience.

DAY 2 SAIGON (-/-/-)
Arrive Saigon and car transfer to 5* Renaissance Riverside Hotel in the heart of the city. Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy a stroll in Saigon boulevards.

Depart by road to Can Tho. En-route stop for lunch at the French-colonial style Le Longanier Restaurant in Cai Be. Upon arrival in Cantho board the Victoria Mekong Cruise. Afternoon visit to Tiger Island where the boat will anchor for the night. Dinner & overnight onboard.

DAY 4 LONG XUYEN - TAN CHAU (B/L/D)
Cruise through the Mekong Delta to Tan Chau, with offshore excursions to visit Long Xuyen floating Market, An Giang Museum and local villages. Lunch & dinner served onboard.

DAY 5 TAN CHAU (B/L/D)
Continue cruising through Tan Chau, visit the last traditional silk village and get your fortune told in a Taoist Temple. Lunch & dinner served onboard.

DAY 6 PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)
Cross the border into Cambodia and cruise on to Phnom Penh, where local kids will perform Apsara Dance on board the Victoria Mekong. Lunch & dinner served onboard.

DAY 7 PHNOMPENH (B/L/-)
After breakfast disembark in Phnompenh. Meeting with your local guide and transfer to La Rose Suites. Rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch PhnomPenh city tour with guide starting with the Independence Monument, followed by the National Museum, the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculpture and carvings. Continue with the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda which were both built in 1866 under King Norodom. Leisurely drive along the river front to visit Wat Phnom with interesting legendary founding place of Phnom Penh. To complete the day visit Tuol Sleng museum, the site of a former high school that was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime. Overnight at La Rose Suites.

DAY 8 PHNOMPENH - CHEUNG EK - KAMPOT - KEP (B/L/-)
We begin the day with a drive to Choeung Ek (Killing Fields) which is located about 17km southwest of Phnom Penh, and is the best known of the various Killing Field sites in Cambodia. After some time for reflection we leave Phnom Penh and travel south on National Highway 2 towards the south coast, journeying to the old Frenchera seaside resort of Kep. On the way to Kep we stop off for a brief stroll along Kampot’s river front and stop for lunch at Rikitikitavi. Drive along Kampot famous pepper plantations and endless salt fields before continuing to Kep. Overnight in Kep at Knai Bang Chatt Beach resort.

DAY 9 KEP - PHNOMPENH (B/-/-)
After breakfast walk to Kep famous Crab market. Rest of the morning enjoy some leisure time on Kep beach. Afternoon car return to PhnomPenh. Overnight at La Rose Suites.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure for an optional , a visit to Russian market. Early afternoon car transfer to Sisowath Quay in Phnompenh to board the Pandaw cruise. Passengers can embark the ship between 14.00 and 18.30. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh city port with its lively bars, restaurants and night life.

DAY 11 SILK ISLAND (B/L/D)
Sail up the Mekong/Tonle River convergence to visit Koh Okhna Tey, or ‘silk island’ to study the entire silk making process from worms to weavers. There will be a demonstration of the ancient Khmer martial art of Bokator. Return to ship and cruise upstream towards Kampong Cham. Evening lecture on Angkor and Khmer culture.

DAY 12 WAT HANCHEY, OBT CHIRO VILLAGE & WAT NOKOR BACHEY (B/L/D)
Sunrise cruise to Wat Hanchey an important centre of worship during the Chenla period located on top of a hill above the mighty Mekong River with some of the best Mekong views in Cambodia. Visit 8th century structures some destroyed by American bombings during the Vietnam War. Well noted for its bizarre Fruit and Animal statues. We cruise back downstream to Kampong Cham where after lunch we travel by Bus to the local OBT Chiro Village where the education of local children is high on the agenda. Pre-Hospitality training courses, plastic recycling, bee keeping, farming and handicraft skill projects are set up to improve the skill set of local children. We then travel to the Wat Nokor Bachey dating back to the Jayarvaman VII period. Built completely from Black Sandstone which makes it standout from other temples built during this period. Many legends surround this complex one being it was built by a king who accidently killed his father then married his mother as per Greek legend. This temple was built in penance fir his crime.

DAY 13 SIEM REAP (B/-/-) visit asia - tours to asia
Sail downstream to moor at Kampong Cham for disembarkation and road transfer to Siem Reap (5 hours). On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight at Victoria Angkor Hotel

DAY 14 SIEM REAP (B/L/-)
Leave your hotel before the dawn to see the spectacular sunrise over Angkor Wat towers and their beautiful sunrise reflection on the lotus pond. Return to hotel for breakfast. Rest of the morning is reserved for the visits to the famous 7th Wonders of the World – the legendary Angkor Wat Temple. This incredible complex was built by Suryavarman II in the middle of the 12th century. Continue to unlock the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple where Lara Croft – Tomb Raider was filmed. Lunch during visits. Afternoon, enter Angkor Thom, the capital of Jayavarman VII, by the impressive South gate. Visit Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces and admire some of temples such as the Terrace of elephants, Terrace of the leper King, Baphuon and Phimeanakas.

DAY 15 SIEM REAP - PHNOM KULEN National Park (B/L/-)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road ( 01 hour drive ) along stunning rural countryside towards one of Cambodia’s best National Parks known as Phnom Kulen. This hill used to be the ground of the ancient capital city in 802AD - after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. Visit Preah Ang Thom (Giant Buddha statue), a very special and holy place where local people come to pray. On to Toek Thleak waterfall where visitors can relax in Khmer style huts. Lunch at a local restaurant near the waterfall. Back to hotel for some leisure time. Evening enjoy Phare Cambodia circus, an amazing blend of traditional and modern theatre, music, dance, acrobatic, juggling and contortion beautifully choreographed telling stories of Cambodian daily life, customs and traditions.

DAY 16 DEPARTURE
Day time is at leisure. Evening transfer to airport for flight home.
