Day 01 :International flights to Lhasa
from Heathrow.
Day 02 : LHASA On arrival at Gonggar airport,
meeting with our representative and transfer to your
hotel. Rest of day is at leisure to explore Lhasa.
Overnight at Kichy resort.
Day 03 : LHASA Visit with guide to Sera Monastery famous
for its fighting monks, Drepung monastery built in 1416
and Jokhang temple the spiritual centre of Tibet. Walk
through the narrow lane of Bakhour Bazaar, Lhasa’s old
market place which has remained unchanged for centuries.
Day 04 : LHASA Guided tour of the wonderful Potala Palace
built on the red hill in 640 AD during the reign of
Songtsen Gompo and Norbulinka, the summer palace of the
Dalai Lama.
Day 05 : GYNTSE Drive via Yamdruktso lake to Gyantse
a small bustling town famous for its wool carpets and the
Phalkor Chorten. Overnight at Utse hotel.
Day 06 : SHIGATSE Visit Khumbum Chorten known as Tashi Multi
stupa that stood at 42m high with 108 cells
containing venerable mural paintings and holy images.
Afternoon drive to Shigatse (at 3,900m) and visit
to the largest and most magnificent monastery, the Tashi
Lhumpo. Overnight in Shigatse at Shangdong mansion.
Day 07 : TSEDANG Drive to Tsedang and enjoy
beautiful view of the Yarlung valley. overnight at Tsedang
hotel.
Day 08 : Visit the famous monasteries :
Yambulakhang, Dzendruk and Samye built in the 8th century.
Day 09 : Transfer to Gonggar airport for departure.
