Day 1: CHIANG MAI (D)
On arrival in ChiangMai airport, meeting with our representative and transfer to Empress hotel. Afternoon visit to the hill top temple of Doi Suthep with its huge golden pagoda. Walking tour in Bosanng and Sankampaeng villages where you will find the best traditional Thai hand made products such as paper umbrellas & fans, silk goods, wood & silver work. Evening enjoy a Khantoke northern Thai dinner with folk show. Overnight in ChiangMai.

Day 2: CHIANG MAI – CHIANG DAO – ARUNOTHAI – DOI AN KHANG (B,L,D)
Transfer by car further north to ChiangDao. Stop at Ruckachathy national park to visit an orchid farm and an elephant training camp. Lunch en route. Continue by car through stunning landscapes to the magical Doi An Khang hill, a non tourist site right on the Thai/Burma border where there is a Thai royal agricultural project developing hundreds of new breeds of exotic flowers and fruits. Afterwards you will be transferred to your hotel by a road through villages of the Chinese refugees whose means of transportation is still the ox-cart. Dinner and overnight at AngKhang Natural resort.

Day 3: DOI ANGKHANG (B,L,D)
Full day to explore this beautiful area including an 2 hour bicycle ride towards Sino-Thai and Tibetan-Burman hill tribe regions with their flower, fruit and vegetable plantations. Short trek in the villages. Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at AngKhang Natural resort.

Day 4: DOI ANGKHANG – MAE SALONG – GOLDEN TRIANGLE (B,L,D)
You will take another magnificent road to descend to the valley towards Golden triangle. Trek up to Mae Salong mountain to visit hill tribe villages which is the real highlight of the trip. Continue to Mae Sai, the very last town on the Thai-Burma border. Visit to the local market then continue to Chiang Saen in the heart of Golden Triangle. After lunch you will visit to the Opium Museum. Dinner and overnight at the Imperial Golden Triangle.

Day 5: GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHIANGRAI (B,L)
Board a pirogue boat for a memorable cruise down the legendary Mekong river to Chiang Sean. Lunch. Transfer by car to ChiangRai airport for departure.
