DAY 01 CHIANG MAI (-/-/D)
On arrival in ChiangMai airport, our representative will meet and transfer you to Shangri-la ChiangMai hotel. Afternoon visit to the hill top temple of Doi Suthep with its huge golden pagoda. Walking tour in Bosanng and Sankampaeng villages where you will find the best traditional Thai hand made products such as paper umbrellas & fans, silk goods, wood & silver work. In the evening, enjoy a Khantoke northern Thai dinner with folk show. Overnight in ChiangMai.

Day 2 CHIANG MAI / CHIANG DAO / ARUNOTHAI / DOI AN KHANG (B/L/D)
Transfer by car further north to ChiangDao. Stop at Ruckachathy National Park to visit an orchid farm and an elephant training camp. Lunch en route before continuing by car through stunning landscapes to the magical Doi An Khang hill, a non tourist site on the Thai/Burma border where there is a Thai royal agricultural project developing hundreds of new breeds of exotic flowers and fruits. Afterwards you will be transferred to your hotel by a road through villages of the Chinese refugees whose means of transportation is still the ox-cart. Dinner and overnight at AngKhang Nature resort.

DAY 03 DOI ANGKHANG / MAE SALONG / GOLDEN TRAINGLE (B/L/D)
Morning a quick visit to this beautiful area home to Sino-Thai and Tibetan-Burman hill tribes who cultivate flowers, fruits and vegetables for a living. Next make a journey along another magnificent road descending the valley towards the Golden Triangle. Trek up to Mae Salong Mountain to visit hill tribe villages, a real highlight of the trip. Continue to Mae Sai, the very last town on the Thai-Burma border. Visit the local market before continuing to Chiang Saen in the heart of the Golden Triangle. After lunch, visit the Opium Museum, founded by a former teacher and housing a priceless and unique collection of objects related to the cultivation and use of opium. Dinner and overnight at the Imperial Golden Triangle.

DAY 04 GOLDEN TRIANGLE / CHIANGRAI (B/L/-)
Board a pirogue boat for a memorable cruise down the legendary Mekong river to Chiang Sean. After lunch, car transfer to ChiangRai. Guided city tour including the White Temple and other main attractions of ChiangRai. Overnight at The Legend Hotel.

DAY 05 DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. In due time car transfer to airport for flight to your next destination.
