DAY 01 Scheduled flight from London Heathrow to Yangon.
DAY 02 YANGON (-/-/D)
Late morning arrival in Yangon. Our representative will transfer you to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure. Evening welcome dinner at Karaweik Palace restaurant with culture show. Overnight in Yangon at The Savoy hotel.
DAY 03 YANGON (B/L/-)
Full day guided city tour of Yangon colonial city centre including the National museum and the Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda to view the Reclining Buddha. After lunch excursion in downtown Yangon to view the Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park, India town and China town and the floating barge on Kandawgyi lake. Late afternoon transfer to the incredibly impressive Buddhist shrine of Shwedagon Pagoda. At sunset its gilded stupa, bathed in the fading rays, takes on a magical glow. Overnight in Yangon at the Savoy Hotel.
DAY 04 PIN OO LWIN ( MAYMYO ) (B/L/-)
Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Mandalay. On arrival enjoy a 2 hour drive to Maymyo (also known as Pyin Oo Lwin) on a beautiful road bordered by monsoon forests. Pin Oo Lwin used to be a British hill station, similar to Dalat in Vietnam which used to be a French one. The town has preserved many colonial architectural monuments, British brick & timber houses and churches. On arrival, enjoy a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride around town visiting the local market in the town centre near the Clock Tower followed by a leisurely walk in the Botanical Garden. Lunch in town before heading to Pwekauk waterfall, called Hampshire falls in the old days. Continue to Peikchin Myaung cave, originally a sacred site for devotees of Lord Shiva; but now the shelter for many Buddha images and replicas of sacred monuments such as Shwedagon pagoda and Kyaikhtiyo Golden Rock. The 600m path leading to the cave is crowded with fascinating herbal medicine stalls. Overnight at Royal Park View Hotel.

DAY 05 MAYMYO / MANDALAY (B/L/-)
After breakfast, time at leisure to enjoy your hotel before journeying to Mandalay. On arrival, transfer to Sedona hotel. After lunch a city tour will take you to Mahamuni Pagoda famous for its gold leaf covered Buddha, local workshops to view gold leaf making, tapestry, woodcarving and masonry work. Further visits to Kuthodaw Pagoda to view the 729 marble slabs of Buddhist scriptures, and Shwenandaw Monastery famed for its woodcarvings. Evening optional walk up Mandalay hill to view the beautiful sunset. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 06 AMAPURA /AVA / SAGAING (B/L/-)
Depart after breakfast for a full day excursion to Amarapura ancient city. First visit is the Mahagandayon Monastery where you can see people offering food to the monks. Then a short leisurely walk on the 200 years-old teak U Bein Bridge across Taungthaman Lake. Continue to Ava town (also known as Innwa ) to seer Bagaya and Maha-Aung-Mye-Bonzon monasteries. Experience a horse-cart ride on the country roads before driving across Inwa Bridge to Sagaing, located on the west bank of the Ayreyarwadi. Sagaing, the religious centre of Myanmar, is home to 3000 monks and has over 600 white painted monasteries and pagodas. Explore Kaungmudaw Pagoda, silver workshops and Sagaing Hill Range dotted with pagodas & temples. Return to Mandalay for overnight at Sedona hotel.
DAY 07 BAGAN (B/L/-)
After breakfast, transfer to Gawwein jetty for a full day cruise on the Schwekeinnery boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Picnic lunch onboard. Arrive in Bagan at about 06:30 pm and transfer to Thande Hotel for an evening at leisure.
DAY 08 BAGAN (B/L/-)
After breakfast, full day guided tour of Bagan, one of the most important archaeological sites in South East Asia. After a visit to Nyaung Oo Market, continue to the Shwezigon Pagoda, Kyansitthar U Min temple, Wet Kyi Inn Gubyaukgyi and Shwegugyi temples. After lunch, see the Archaeological museum and a lacquer ware factory. Then some further exploration of Bagan’s best known pagodas and temples including Mingalazedi Pagoda and Ananda Temple. Evening visit to Shwesandaw Temple for the marvellous sunset view. Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 09 BAGAN ( B/-/-)

A whole free day in Bagan to take in the magnificence of this extraordinary town. Optional sunrise balloon ride over Bagan. Return to your favourite sites or just stroll in the local markets and colourful bazaars or relax at your hotel. You can also take an optional day trip to Mount Popa.
DAY 10 INLE (B/L/-)
Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Heho. Drive to Nyaung Shwe through the hazy Shan Mountains and transfer to Inle Lake, home to the Intha people who live in floating villages along the lakeside. Boat trip on the lake to see the leg-rowing fishermen, the floating gardens, floating villages and floating market. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Inle at Inle Princess, the best resort in Inle.
DAY 11 INDEIN (B/L/-)
Another boat trip on Inle lake today, with a visit to Indein Ancient Pagoda Complex, a local market, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Inpawkhon Weaving Village, a floating silver smith and the Jumping Cat Monastery. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight at Inle Princess resort.

DAY 12 HEHO (B/L/-)
Transfer to Heho airport for flight to Yangon. Afternoon transfer to Bogyoke Market also called Scott market, a picturesque old fashioned oriental market, where precious stones such as jade, ruby and sapphire can be found. Overnight in Yangon at the Savoy hotel.
DAY 13 KHIYATTIYO (B/L/-)
Coach transfer to Bago, 80 km north west of Yangon. Visit the 55m Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha in the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, one of the most venerated in Myanmar. Lunch at a local restaurant before driving on to Khiyattiyo, where you will be transferred by pick-up truck to the base camp. Walk up the hill (1 hour) to visit the famous Golden Rock. Enjoy the sunset and overnight at Mountain Top hotel.
DAY 14 BAGO (B/L/-)
Drive back to Yangon to see Bago Market and stop at the Allied War Cemetery at Htaukkyan. Lunch at local restaurant. Overnight in Yangon at the Savoy hotel.
DAY 15 YANGON (B/-/-)
Morning at leisure or shopping. Afternoon transfer to the airport for departure.
