Day 2 YANGON (-/-/-)
On arrival in Yangon, meeting with local guide and car transfer to The Savoy Hotel. Check-in and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 3: YANGON – SITTWE (B/-/D)
After breakfast fly Yangon to Sittwe. On arrival at Sittwe, the Capital of Rakkine State, transfer to pier and board the RV Kaladan Pandaw ( 16 cabins ) to explore Ancient Arakan. Arakan ( former name of Rakhine state ) was an independent kingdom up to the 18th century where an extraordinary mix of Indian and South-East Asian cultures merged.

Day 4: WABO (B/L/D)
Morning cruise across the Sittwe bay and enter the Kaladan River to visit the Wabo weaving village and in afternoon on to the traditional Arakan village of Ponnangyon traversing a maze of canals and backwaters

Day 5: MRAUK U (B/L/D)
Explore the monuments by local car or bicycle. visit to the famous Shittaung Temple with its stunning sculpture, HtaukkanThein temple with figures of beautiful ladies offering lotus buds, Andaw-Thein temple where the molar tooth relic of Buddha is kept and the octagonal Ratanabon Stupa on a hillock. visit asia - tours to asia visit asia - tours to asia

Day 6: MRAUK U (B/L/D)
Further exploration of the monuments

Travel by local boat on Laymyo river (2hrs) with a chance to see the tattoo women of Chin and enjoy the scenic beauty of the area. Arrive on the bank of the river. Here lies one of the tattooed village : Khone-Chaung Chin where all women aged above 40 wear tattoos on their face. The younger women no longer practice face tattooing.

Continuing up the Kaladan River to this sacred Buddhist site.The Kispanadi Bridge is located at the entrance to Kyauktaw, traversing the Kaladan River.

Day 9: SITTWE (B/L/D)
In the evening further explorations of Sittwe , the Capital of Rakkine State .Sightseeing includes Payagyi pagoda, Payamya Monastery, Cultural museum and the riverfront market.

Day 10: SITTWE – THANDWE (B/-/-) visit asia - tours to asia
Disembark at Sittwe and transfer to the Sittwe airport for flight to Thandwe. On arrival at Thwande airport join Sandoway shuttle bus to the beautiful Ngapali beach. 03 nights stay ( deluxe room ) at the luxurious Sandoway resort to relax and enjoy this unspoiled beach: swim, sunbathe and take in the delights of this beautiful holiday resort. Optional sightseeing or visit to offshore islands.

Day 13 THANDWE – YANGON (B/-/-)
Join hotel shuttle to airport for flight to Yangon. Change to international terminal to board your flight home.
