Day 01  Saigon - Cantho (-/L/-)
Car drive from HoChiMinh city to CaiBe. Boat trip on Mekong river to visit CaiBe floating wholesale market and farmers houses. Visit to tropical fruit islands and lunch in a bonsai garden. Car drive further south to CanTho city. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Victoria CanTho (4 star ).

Day 02  Cantho - Chaudoc (B/L/-)
Visit to NinhKieu port and CanTho central market and boat ride in CaiRang floating retail market, the busiest one in South East Asia. After lunch car drive via LongXuyen to ChauDoc province. Stop on the way at Thot Not and board a small boat cruising along tiny canals to Bang Lang stork sanctuary . Arrive in ChauDoc in late afternoon. Climb the sacred Sam mountain and enjoy sunset view from the mountain top where you can see the Cambodian border. Overnight in ChauDoc at Victoria ChauDoc hotel (4 star).

Day 03  Chaudoc (B/L/-)
Boat excursion on the right branch of the Mekong river (the TransBassac). Visit to a Cham weaving village and their magnificient mosque and other floating and fishing villages. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon ChauDoc city tour by bicycle drawn pedicab visiting Lady Chua Xu pagoda, Thoai Ngoc Hau temple and local villages. Overnight in ChauDoc at Victoria ChauDoc.

Day 04  ChauDoc - Saigon (B/L/-)
Visit to ChauDoc local market and return to HoChiMinh city via Sadec with visit to the beautiful Sadec flower garden and Kien An Cung pagoda.

Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho - Leisure Cycling
Morning drive to Can Tho. In the afternoon enjoy a bicycle ride along quiet riverside lanes to experience real Vietnamese rural life. Late afternoon relax on boat with cold drinks then release lanterns on the river for good luck. Overnight at 4* Victoria CanTho riverside Hotel.

Day 2 Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating market - Mang Thit (B/L/D)
Morning boat cruise to explore the colourful and bustling floating market at Cai Rang. Later cruise through narrow canals and stop at a fruit orchard to taste some of the succulent fruits of the region. Visit to Binh Thuy ancient house before boarding the riverboat Bassac. Enjoy lunch on board while cruising along the rivers to Tra On. Stop en route for brief walking tours of villages along the river banks. Dock at Co Chien for overnight stay. Overnight onboard.

Day 3 Mang Thit - Cai Be Bartering - Ben Tre Homestay (B/L/D)
Cruise to Cai Be for the floating market to practice the age-old art of bartering. Visitors will be supplied with sweets, sugar, milk, etc. which they can then barter for different kinds of local fruits. Continue by boat to family-run business producing a local version of popcorn and rice paper. Lunch is in an ancient Delta house in Cai Be before proceeding to Ben Tre. Spend the late afternoon at Phu Tuc village, discover some local activities such as visit the orchard, fishing in a pond, walk to neighboured villages to interact with locals. Experience the preparation of your dinner under the guidance of the host. Enjoy a short Mekong traditional music performance before having dinner. Spend the night in a local house in Ben Tre. Homestay overnight.

Day 4 Ben Tre - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-)
After breakfast cruise along the river, take a short walk to visit a handicraft workshop making a variety of art objects from coconut fruits & leaves. Ride a horse-drawn cart to a local house where you can enjoy tea and taste some locally grown tropical fruits. Float on a sampan through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the Mekong Delta. After lunch return to My Tho mainland. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda if time permits. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in late afternoon

Day 1 (Fri) Hanoi - Ha Giang (320km) (-/L/D)
Overland transfer from Hanoi to Ha Giang, a remote northeast tip of the country and a relatively undiscovered tourist destination. This is an area where local traditions and culture remain unchanged and is considered a fascinating destination for those with a keen interest in Vietnam's ethnic diversity. Lunch en route. On arrival in Ha Giang visit Phuong Do village, home to the Tay minority people, the oldest ethnic community in Ha Giang. Walk in this beautiful village surrounded by terraced paddy-fields and dotted with houses-on-stilts. Watch the locals finishing their daily work in the fields and making their way home in buffalo carts and bikes at sunset. Return to Ha Giang and check in to the hotel ( basic accommodation. Overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 2 (Sat) Ha Giang - Dong Van (160km) (B/L/D)
A wonderful car journey through stunning mountainous landscapes and terraced paddy-fields up and down the sloping roads around the rocky mountain between 700m and 1,300m in height. Plenty of photo opportunities during a stop at Quyet Tien minority market where the Nung, White H'Mong, Po Y, Dao Lanten and Tay all gather for trade. Drive on to Heaven Gate and Fairy Mountain before reaching a White H'Mong village specialised in flax weaving. One more stop to visit the village of the Zao Ao Dai (Zao Long Traditional Dress) before lunch. Next drive up to the altitude of 1,432m to visit the ancient village of the White H'Mong. From village to village the culture, costumes and languages may differ but the smile and warm welcome remain consistent. Proceed to Sung La to discover a LoLo house and its people (the LoLo minority is one of Vietnam's rarest ethnic minorities and only exist in this region) Afterwards, visit the impressive ancient H'Mong King Palace before arriving in Dong Van town in late afternoon and check in to the hotel ( basic ). Overnight in Dong Van.

Day 3 (Sun) Dong Van - Meo Vac - Ha Giang - Tay Minority Homestay (170km) ( B/L/D)
In the morning, visit the Sunday Dong Van minority market which is one of the most beautiful minority markets in Vietnam. Before reaching the peak of Ma Pi Leng you will be able to admire the panoramic views of rocky mountains, river and terraced paddy-fields. Visit Meo Vac market with its cattle market and then proceed to visit the village of Zao Ao Dai before lunch. Return to Ha Giang. Upon arrival in the village check in to your homestay house-on-stilts of the Tay people ( basic comfort but unforgettable experience ). Enjoy local hospitality and have a memorable dinner with a local Tay family. (Optional: Indulge in a traditional herbal bath or simply a relaxing foot soak using herbal remedies) Homestay overnight with the locals ( basic accommodation ).

Day 4 (Mon) Ha Giang - Hanoi (320km) (B/L/-)
After breakfast take a walk or cycle around the village to experience a very authentic spectacle of daily life in a peaceful and pleasant valley mountain scenery. Road back to Hanoi. Lunch en route. Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel.

Day 3 Hue - Boat Cruise - Citadel and Royal Tombs (B/-/-)
Morning boat cruise on the Perfume River visiting the Thien Mu Pagoda. Drive to the Imperial Citadel modeled on the same lines as Beijing's Forbidden Palace. The Citadel contains a series of palaces, ornate halls, libraries, residences and colleges. After lunch we visit the elaborate tombs of Emperor Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Overnight at Saigon Morin Hotel.

Day 4 Hue - Danang - My Son - Hoi An (B/-/-)
In the morning visit Emperor Minh Mang's tomb before driving to Danang, stopping at the Cham Museum. In the afternoon we proceed to the remarkable ruins of My Son in a remote jungle valley. My Son was formerly the religious centre of the Cham Kingdom and is another UNESCO World Heritage site with more than 20 well-preserved monuments. Late afternoon we arrive in Hoi An. Overnight at 4* HoiAn Riverside Hotel.

Day 5 Hoi An - Sightseeing - Thanh Ha Village (B/-/-)
There is a morning walking tour of this ancient trading port. Visit a traditional Chinese Assembly House, a Hokkien Temple, ancient merchants' houses, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge followed by a visit a lantern workshop. Learn how lanterns are made and create your own. After lunch cruise to Thanh Ha pottery village and visit a traditional ceramic workshop. Visitors have a chance to "get their hands dirty" creating their own potteries. Overnight at HoiAn Riverside Hotel.

Day 6 Danang – Departure (B/-/-)

Day 4 Kon Tum - Trekking – Konkotu (B/L/-)
A short city tour includes a seminary and museum before travelling to Kon Jri for a 10km trek through local villages, forests, rivers and cassava plantations. Picnic lunch at the upper reaches of the Dakbla River. Relax and take a dip at a local swimming hole. Boat ride downstream to Konkotu hamlet to meet the Bahnar minority people and then transfer back to town. Overnight at KonTum Hotel.

Day 5 Kon Tum - Hoi An ( B/-/-)
After breakfast, drive over beautiful mountain passes to Hoi An. During the drive, there's time to stop and take in the scenic panoramic views of lowland country. Upon arrival in Hoi An, hotel check-in then rest of day free is free for relaxation.
