DAY 02 HANOI (-/-/D)
Arrival in Hanoi where you will meet our representative and transfer to La belle Vie 3 * Hotel. A Hanoi city tour will take you to the Temple of Literature, HoanKiem Lake in the heart of Hanoi, NgocSon Temple which is on an island in the lake. Evening welcome dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant with traditional music. Overnight in Hanoi at La Belle Vie hotel.

DAY 03 MAICHAU ( B/L/-)
Morning drive to picturesque Mai Chau nestled on the valley floor surrounded by soaring mountains. Visit the village of the White Thai ethnic people and lunch in a charming long house. Short trek among the beautiful green valleys and mountains. Late afternoon return to Hanoi and overnight at La Belle Vie hotel.

DAY 04 CATBA ( B/L/-)
Morning drive to Haiphong city where you will board a hydrofoil to CatBa island, one of Vietnam's best preserved National Parks. Lunch at a local restaurant in CatBa. A motorbike tour will take you around the island, exploring the secret Hospital cave and TrungTrang tunnels; followed by trekking in CatBa forest with guide. Overnight at 3* Sunrise Resort.

DAY 05 HALONG ( B/L/D )
Morning boat trip to Halong and board the Huong Hai junk at noon. The next 24 hours are a unique experience as you sail deep into Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, soaking up the tranquillity of more than three thousand islands. Explore some of the many islands, caves and grottoes. After a seafood lunch on board, relax on deck or stop off at a nearby island for a swim, or chill out on a white sandy beach. Optional kayaking and other island activities, weather permitting. Unwind and enjoy a sumptuous freshly caught seafood dinner and overnight on board. Evening fishing and enjoy the beautiful sunset of Halong Bay. Experience the dark silhouettes, and the surreal tranquility of the bay beneath the eerie light of the moon as you drop anchor for the night.

DAY 06 HALONG ( B/L/- )
Watch the sun rise in Halong Bay and visit the most beautiful caves of ThienCung and DauGo. Lunch on board before sailing back to Hanoi, with a visit to the famous DongTrieu pottery village on the way. In the evening, experience the colourful water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi at La Belle Vie hotel.

DAY 07 HANOI ( B/L/-)
Day at leisure or shopping in Hanoi with lunch at your hotel. Chance to wander the bustling streets of the old quarter, meditate by the edge of the beautiful lake, or relax with a beverage whilst watching the impossible traffic of the city. Evening transfer to Hanoi railway station for departure to Hue on the Reunification Express Train. Overnight on sleeper train.

DAY 08 HUE ( B/L/- )
On arrival in Hue you will be transferred to Asia 3* Hotel. After lunch, enjoy a guided city tour of romantic Hue including a cyclo ride passing by Dong Khanh secondary school, Truong Tien Bridge, DongBa market then to the Imperial Citadel. Overnight in Hue at Asia hotel.

DAY 09 HUE ( B/L/- )
Morning boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda built on the banks of the river. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon car trip to visit the Mausoleums of the Emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Overnight at Asia hotel.

DAY 10 HOIAN ( B/L/- )
Drive to Danang via the breathtaking HaiVan pass, one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam. Stop at the Marble Mountains to climb Water Mountain and explore the cave pagodas before visiting the Cham Museum with its collection of relics from the Cham Kingdom. Car transfer onward to the ancient trading town of HoiAn with its mix of Japanese and Chinese architecture. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight at 3* Hoi An Ancient House resort.

DAY 11 KONTUM ( B/L/- )
In the morning, depart for Kontum with a stop en route to visit Chien Dang Cham temple. Picnic lunch on the Violak Pass before continuing to Kontum with a stop at Kon Bil village of Sdra minority people. Arrive in Kontum in late afternoon. Overnight at Dakbla Guest House.

DAY 12 KONTUM ( B/L/- )
Morning drive to Kon Jri via Kon Klo suspension bridge. From Kon Jri, take a trek through villages, over forested hills, passing various slopes and swinging bridges, cassava/sugar plantations. Picnic lunch on the upper bank of Dakbla River, then relax and possibly swim in the cool waters. Take a boat ride downstream to a hamlet of the Bahnar minority. Short walk in Konkotu village and visit the local peoples’ homes. Return to town and visit the villages of Plei To Nghia and KonHngor Kotu. In the evening, enjoy the gong show and traditional ethnic dance. Overnight at Dakbla Guest House.

DAY 13 BANMETHUOT ( B/L/D )
Morning visit to the Seminary, Museum and the wooden cathedral. Drive to Lak Lake, covering some 500 hectares. The great body of water hemmed in between low lying mountains is home to many kinds of wading birds such as wild ducks and teal. On arrival, check in at your homestay (long houses built on stilts). Rest of day at leisure before dinner and overnight in Lak village.

DAY 14 NHATRANG ( B/L/-)
Board a rowing pirogue crossing Lak Lake to Jun village where you will see the M'nong people's daily life. Elephant ride along the shore back to Lak Lake. Check out and drive to Nhatrang, arriving in the evening. Overnight in Nha Trang at 3* Yasaka hotel.

DAY 15 NHATRANG ( B/L/- )
Day at leisure in NhaTrang to enjoy the beach, and sun & seabathing, and optional water sports. Lunch at hotel. Overnight in NhaTrang at Yasaka Hotel.

DAY 16 DALAT ( B/L/- )
Drive to Dalat highlands, the former French hill station via Ngoan Muc Pass. Visit the beautiful Tuyen Lam Lake, pine forests and the colourful Dalat central market. Lunch during visits. Overnight in Dalat at 3* Golf 3 hotel.

DAY 17 SAIGON ( B/L/- )

Drive down south to HoChiMinh City via BaoLoc to visit the impressive Dambri waterfall and tea & coffee plantations. Lunch in Bao Loc. Late afternoon arrival in Saigon and check-in at 3* Continental hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure and overnight at Continental hotel.

DAY 18 TAYNINH / CUCHI ( B/L/-)
A memorable excursion takes you to the exotic Cao Dai Temple at Tay Ninh where you will view the colourful midday service before continuing to the famous Cu Chi tunnels. Lunch during visits at a local restaurant. Return to Saigon for overnight.

DAY 19 SAIGON / MEKONG DELTA ( B/L/D )
Morning Saigon VESPA tour to take in the delights of this dynamic and bustling city from the unique perspective of a local commuter. Weave through the streets and back alleys on Vespa motorbikes exploring major landmarks, local haunts, street food and experience the daily activities of the Vietnamese.

Then car transfer to the Mekong Delta where you will enjoy a boat trip on the legendary Mekong River, visiting the floating market, walking/biking tour of a handicraft village meeting the locals, and sample various tropical fruits such as mango, rambutan and longan. Lunch en route. Late afternoon arrival at Ut Trinh homestay built on the river. Soak in the tranquillity of the bonsai gardens and orchards or participate in a cookery class at your homestay followed by dinner including the dishes you made earlier. Overnight in VinhLong.

An early morning boat trip to enjoy CaiBe colourful floating market. Lunch in a bonsai garden. Return to Saigon with stopover in Mytho for visits to DongTam snake farm and Vinh Trang pagoda. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Continental hotel.
