DAY 01 International flights to PhnomPenh.

On arrival at PhnomPenh airport, you will be met and transferred to Villa Langka boutique hotel. Short PhnomPenh orientation tour with guide before enjoying a Welcome dinner at a local restaurant with Apsara dance performance. Evening at leisure & overnight in PhnomPenh.

PhnomPenh guided city tour includes the Central market, National Museum, Silver Pagoda with its floor of silver blocks, the outside of the Royal Palace, now home to King Sihanouk and Wat Phnom, after which the city takes its name. Lunch at a local restaurant. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight in PhnomPenh.

Transfer to the airport for morning flight to Siem Reap, home of the Angkor complex – the symbol of Cambodia. Explore the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and the Bayon with its myriad of stone faces. Lunch at a local restaurant. Later you may wish to watch the beautiful sunset from the top of PreRup temple. Overnight at 5* Sokha Angkor hotel.

Further exploration of this archaeological gem including the famous Taprohm jungle temple, where “Tomb Raider” was filmed, and the Roluos group: Lolei, Preakho and Bakong. Lunch at a local restaurant, then a boat trip on TonleSap River to visit some floating villages. Overnight at Sokha Angkor hotel.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane. An afternoon Vientiane city tour includes the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. En route to Lao’s national precious heritage, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Enjoy a Laotian welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Vientiane at Lao Plaza Hotel.

Morning visit to Vientiane central market before transfer to airport for flight to Luang Prabang ( 11:50 – 12:30 ). On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to Villa Maly hotel in the heart of Luang Prabang. After lunch, guided city tour including the former royal Capital, where you will visit some of the many exquisite temples including Wat Xieng Thong located on the banks of the Mekong River, Wat Visoun, containing the largest Buddha in the city and Mount Phousi, a tree covered hill in the centre of the town. Overnight at Villa Maly hotel.

Boat excursion to the holy caves of Pak Ou housing a collection of hundreds of Buddha statues. Lunch en route before visiting ethnic villages producing local rice wine. In the evening, enjoy a sunset panoramic view from Mount Phousi and Luang Prabang night market. Overnight in LuangPrabang.

Morning visit to the former Royal Palace and the colourful central market. Time at leisure in this beautiful town for some souvenir shopping before transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi with Lao aviation ( 16:45 – 17:45 ). On arrival transfer to Melia deluxe hotel conveniently located in the heart of this charming capital. Vietnamese Welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Melia hotel.

DAY 10 HANOI (B/L/-)
All day Hanoi city tour with guide takes in the main boulevards of Hanoi, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son Temple, HoChiMinh Mausoleum, The Old Quarter and the famous One Pillar pagoda. Enjoy a one hour “cyclo” ride around the Old Quarter. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon at leisure for a stroll experiencing the Old Quarter and/or shopping. In the evening enjoy the incredible water puppet performance before returning to the Melia hotel for overnight.

Drive to Van Long, a nature reserve in Ninh Binh filled with untouched landscape, limestone cliffs and caves. Take small bamboo sampans to explore the caves. Then onwards to Kenh Ga floating village, where we will travel through the village by motor-boat and rowboat taking in scenes of fishermen, children going to school, and daily life along the river front. Disembark for a brief walk through green rice paddy fields to visit Van Trinh cave. Return to Hanoi for overnight.

Morning car transfer to HaLong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Board the luxurious Bhaya junk for an overnight cruise through the bay stopping to explore some of the many islands, caves and grottoes. Lunch & dinner of fresh seafood served onboard. Relax on deck or stop off at a nearby island for a swim. Optional kayaking and other island activities, weather permitting. Experience the dark silhouettes, and the surreal tranquility of the bay beneath the eerie light of the moon as you drop anchor for the night.

DAY 13 HUE (B/L/-)
Morning cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of HaLong bay. Lunch before transfer to Hanoi airport for your flight to the Imperial city of Hue. Located in central Vietnam, Hue has always been considered the fulcrum of the country’s two rice baskets, the Red river delta and the Mekong delta; and was Vietnam’s capital in 1802 under King Gia Long (1762-1819). On arrival, transfer to colonial La Residence hotel. Overnight in Hue.

DAY 14 HUE (B/L/-)
Morning guided visits to the Imperial citadel followed by a boat ride on the Perfume river to the elegant Thien Mu Pagoda to witness a daily Buddhist prayer recital by the monks and TuDuc Mausoleum. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon at leisure or optional bicycle ride on village tracks to experience the local life. Overnight at La Residence Hotel in Hue.

DAY 15 HOIAN (B/L/-)
After breakfast, drive to HoiAn ancient town via the breathtaking HaiVan pass, one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam. When traversing the steep winding roads of this paved mountain pass, you will have a chance to discover peace, quiet and history along the way. Lunch on arrival in HoiAn. Rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore HoiAn on your own and overnight at 4* Life Resort.

DAY 16 HOIAN (B/L/-)

In the morning, enjoy a walking tour of the old streets of HoiAn; learn how the mix of Japanese and Chinese architecture reflects its past history as an important trading port. Visit the Ancient merchants' houses, a Hokkien temple, a 400 year old Japanese covered bridge, the vibrant riverside market and a lantern workshop where you can learn to create your own lantern. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon is at leisure to take in the charm of this ancient town. Overnight at Life Resort.

Transfer to Danang airport for flight to Cam Ranh. On arrival, transfer to 5* Sunrise beach resort in Nha Trang. After lunch, start a guided city tour of Nha Trang taking in the Ponagar Cham temple towers founded before 781 AD and dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country, who came to be identified with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini; visit a fishing village and the Aquarium. Overnight at Sunrise Beach Resort.

Day at leisure in NhaTrang to enjoy the beach, and sun & seabathing. Overnight at Sunrise Beach Resort.

Transfer to Cam Ranh airport for your flight to Saigon. On arrival in this bustling metropolis, check in at the prestigious Caravelle 5* hotel in city centre. Rest of the day at leisure to relax and explore at your own pace. Overnight in Saigon at the Caravelle Hotel.

(Optional evening VESPA tour of Saigon after dark: weave through the streets and back alleys on old Vespa motorbikes exploring local haunts, street food and experience the local night life.)

DAY 20 CUCHI (B/L/-)
Morning visit to the famous Cu Chi tunnels to experience how the Viet Cong lived underground during the American war. Lunch during visits at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, embark on a city tour of Saigon’s main boulevards, Notre Dame Cathedral, the splendid Post Office, the bustling Ben Thanh market and ChoLon China town. Evening at leisure and overnight at Caravelle Hotel.


Excursion to VinhLong in the Mekong delta where you will enjoy a boat trip on the legendary Mekong River visiting Cai Be floating market before cruising along small canals towards one of the islands, and a typical plantation growing a variety of tropical fruits. Lunch in a bonsai garden before visiting a local farmer’s village before driving on to CanTho city. Overnight at Victoria CanTho.

Early morning boat trip to visit CaiRang, the busiest floating market in South East Asia. You may have a chance to see the age old practice of bartering, or even try your hand at it. Return to Saigon with a stop at MyTho for lunch. My Tho was the traditional gateway to the Mekong Delta and is famous for its noodle soup “Hu Tieu Nam Vang” and beef balls “Bo Vien”. Return to Saigon for overnight at Caravelle Hotel.

Transfer to airport for flight home.
