Day 1. Fly from London to Beijing on scheduled
airlines.
Day 2 : Beijing - On arrival at Beijing
airport transfer to Novotel Peace hotel. Rest of the
day is at leisure.
Day 3 : Beijing ( B ) Day at leisure in
Beijing. Obtain your visa to North Korea and air
tickets to Pyongyang. Overnight at Novotel Peace
hotel.
Day 4 : Beijing - Pyongyang ( B, D )
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to
Pyongyang. On arrival transfer to 4* Yanggakdo
hotel. Poyongyang orientation tour including the
Arch of Triumph and Kim Il Song square. Dinner and
overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Pyongyang - Mt Myohyang ( B,L,D )
Guided city tour visiting Mangyongde village (birth
place of President Kim Il Song), the Mansudae
Fountain Park and Mansudae Grand Monument with a
20-metre high bronze statue of Kim Il Song, the
Juche Tower, War Victory & Party Foundation
Monuments. Lunch during visits. Afternoon car
transfer to Myohyangsan mountains. Dinner and
overnight at 4* Hyangsan hotel.
Day 6: Mt Myohyang - Pyongyang ( B,L,D )
Morning visit to Pohyon Buddhist Temple built in
1042 and the International Friendship exhibition
displaying thousands & thousands of gifts from
various countries to Kim Il Song and Kim Jong ll
over the years. After lunch car return to Pyongyang.
Try the beautifully decorated North Korean Metro (
proudly called the underground palace ) around the
city. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at
Yanggakdo hotel.
Day 7 : Pyongyang - Panmunjom - Kaesong ( B,L,D )
Car transfer to Panmunjom (1953 Armistice village).
Visit with guide to the DMZ and the Military Museum
on the 38th parallel at the border with South Korea.
Lunch at local restaurant in Panmunjom. Transfer to
Kaesong. Visit to the museum of Koryo Dynasty, the
Sonjuk bridge, the tomb of King Kongmin. Dinner and
overnight at the Traditional Kaesong Inn
(traditional style with heated floor bedding).
Day 8: Kaesong - Pyongyang ( B,L,D)
Return to Pyongyang by car. Guided visits to the War
Museum and American spy ship Pueblo. Lunch on the
floating restaurant on Taedong river. Afternoon
visit to the Central Department Store and Pyongyang
Children's Palace. Enjoy a concert performed by
Korean children. Dinner at a local restaurant in
Pyongyang.
Day 9 : Pyongyang ( B,L,D)
Guided visits to the Korean War Memorial, the
Mausoleum of President Kim Il-Song, the Cemetery of
the Revolutionaries and anti-Japanese soldiers.
Lunch during visits. Afternoon visit to the Grand
People's Study House ( a massive national library )
followed by Park Moranbong where folk songs and
dances are performed, the Soviet Army Monument, and
Chollima statue ( the legendary flying horse, symbol
of high spirit and speedy development of the
nation). Attend a performance by the Korean People's
Army Circus. Dinner at hotel.
Day 10. Pyongyang - Nampo - Pyongyang (B,L,D)
Transfer to the city of Nampo (60 km west of
Pyongyang) for the West Sea Dam and the Museum of
Dam Construction. Lunch during visits. Car return to
Pyongyang. Afternoon visits to the Central History
Museum, the 1st of May Stadium. Dinner and overnight
in Pyongyang.
Day 11 : Pyongyang - Beijing by train ( B )
Transfer to railway station for an overnight train
to Beijing. Optional stopover in Dandong.
Day 12 : Beijing
Arrive in Beijing in the morning. Transfer to
airport for your flight home.
