Day 01 : Departure from London Heathrow.

Day 2 : DELHI. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at 4* Hotel Hans Plaza.

Day 3 : DELHI ( B ) Full day guided visits in Old Delhi : the magnificent 17th century Red Fort and Rajghat – Mahatma Gandhi memorial. Drive to New Delhi’s CAPITAL COMPLEX visiting Rashtrapati Bhawan – once the British viceroy’s home, now residence of India’s President - Parliament House, Rajpath ceremonial causeway, India Gate war memorial, Humayun’s Tomb - mausoleum of the 2nd Great Mughal said to be the forerunner of the Taj Mahal. On to the QUTUB COMPLEX to see the 12th century Quwat-ul-Islam Mosque, and Qutub Minar – tallest structure in the area for centuries. Overnight at Hans Plaza hotel.

Day 4 : DELHI / AGRA ( B ). Depart by road for Agra (200 Km / approx 4 hrs ). Proceed to Agra, stop en route to visit SIKANDRA, tomb of the 3rd Mughal Emperor Akbar The Great. On arrival check in at Hotel Jaypee Palace. This afternoon visit to the impressive Agra Fort which construction started in 1565 and built over the reigns of three Great Mughal emperors. Overnight at Jaypee Palace.

Day 5 : AGRA/JAIPUR via Fatehpur Sikri ( B ). Early morning visit to The Taj Mahal at sunrise. Return to the hotel for breakfast; check out and depart for the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur (250 kms / approx 5 hrs ) – colourful city of Rajasthan. En-route, visit the 16th century ‘ghost town’ of Fatehpur Sikri once a glittering capital of the Great Mughals. Proceed to Jaipur, stopping en route for lunch. At Jaipur, check in at Hotel Mansingh for overnight.

Day 6 : JAIPUR ( B ). Morning visit the Fortress Palace of Amber - former capital of Jaipur’s Rulers – and enjoy an elephant ride to the Fort atop the hill. Lunch at an ethnic restaurant where we see the TURBAN MUSEUM depicting over 90 different ways of tying a turban. Drive into the heart of the old town of Jaipur to see Hawa Mahal – ‘Palace of the Winds’ from behind whose latticed screens royal ladies once watched ceremonial processions. Visit the City Palace and Museum where Jaipur’s last maharaja still resides, and Jantar Mantar – 18th century Royal Observatory. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 7 : JAIPUR / MUMBAI / KOCHI ( B ). Early morning check out and transfer to the airport for flight to Kochi via Mumbai. On arrival transfer to Hotel Abad Atrium. In the afternoon visit to the 16th century St Francis’ Church in Fort Cochin where Vasco da Gama was once buried, and Mattancherry Palace, a gift of the Dutch to Cochin’s Maharaja. In the evening attend a performance of Kerala’s classical dance KATHAKALI – from application of make-up to putting on intricate costumes. Overnight at Abad Atrium Hotel.

Day 8 : KOCHI / ALLAPUZA / KUMARAKOM ( B ). Check out and proceed by road for Allapuza (65kms). From Allapuza, enjoy Kerala’s famous Backwaters Cruise on a motor boat. Cruise leisurely on the backwaters among swaying palms and lush greenery seeing the lifestyle of the villages on the riverbanks, and water-birds on Lake Vembanad. Check in at Whispering Palm Resort. Evening free to enjoy the beautiful scenery on the shores of the lake watching the sunset. Overnight at the Resort.

Day 9 : KUMARAKOM ( B ). Day at leisure to enjoy the resort relaxing in the shaded of palm trees or by the poolside watching village boats plying on the lake. (Optional Ayurvedic Oil massage / sauna or nature walk around the neighbourhood ). Overnight at the Resort.

Day 10 : KUMARAKOM / KOCHI / MUMBAI( B ). Depart by road for Kochi airport and fly to Mumbai. On arrival transfer to Hotel Kohinoor Continental. Evening at leisure. Optional visit to Bandra. Overnight in Mumbai

Day 11 : MUMBAI & Departure ( B ). After breakfast, drive to Dhobi Talao, where the city laundry is done manually, Gateway of India,Victoria Station and Marine Drive. Late evening transfer to the airport for flight home.

Day 12 : Arrive home
