Day 1: Departure
Fly to Ahmedabad via Mumbai.

Day 2: Ahmedabad (-/-/-) visit asia - tours to asia
On arrival in Ahmedabad meeting with our representative and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon guided visits to the sights of this historic city including Gandhi Ashram and various religious temples and mosques. Overnight at Country Inn & Suites.

Day 3: Ahmedabad (B/-/-)
Today visit the Calico Museum, home to a rare collection of embroidery from the 17th century. Also visit Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram, the starting point for the famous salt march of 1930. Overnight in Ahmedabad.

Day 4: Ahmedabad-Dasada (B/-/D) visit asia - tours to asia
Depart by road to Dasada (6 hours drive). En route visit Patan, a beautiful town dotted with Jain temples and carved wooden houses. Later visit the sun temple of Modhera, built in 1026 AD and dedicated to the Sun-God, Surya. Stay at Rann Riders Resort for two nights.

Day 5: Dasada(B/L/D)
Today you will enjoy a morning safari in the little Rann of Temple of Modhera Kutch, a barren, salt-cracked desert, home to wolves and the India Wild Ass followed by an afternoon village Safari. Overnight stay.

Day 6: Dasada-Bhuj (B/-/-)
visit asia - tours to asia Drive to the desert city of Bhuj (5hours ). On arrival obtain a permit to visit the villages of Banni and Bhujoda located on the outskirts of the north side of Bhuj. On arrival check-in at Hotel Prince for overnight.

Day 7: Bhuj (B/-/-)
Today guided visits to villages including Bhujodi where a live demonstration of shawl making will take place. Later continue to Mandvi to see the magnificient Vijay Villas Palace. Enjoy some relaxing time on the beach before returning to Bhuj. Overnight at Hotel Prince.

Day 8: Bhuj (B/-/-)
Day at leisure to take in the beauty of Bhuj. You may wish to explore some of the neighbouring Banny villages. Overnight stay.

Day 9: Bhuj-Gondal (B/-/-)
visit asia - tours to asia Depart by road to the princely state of Gondal (6hours drive). On arrival check-in at Orchard Palace. In the afternoon visit the 17th century Naulakha Palace and car museum . Overnight in Gondal.

Day 10: Gondal-Sasangir (B/L/D)
visit asia - tours to asia Drive to Sasangir (3.5 hours). En route visit Junagadh, Naulakha Palace an ancient fortified city, where you will visit Emperor Ashoka’a rock edicts dating back to 250 BC and the medieval Uparkot Fort. On arrival check-in at Fern hotel. Lunch, dinner & overnight at Fern Hotel.

Day 11: Sasangir (B/L/D)
Today enjoy morning and afternoon safaris at Gir National Park, home to the last surviving Asiatic lions. The forest is rich in bird life as well as crocodiles and many species of monkeys. Meet the Maldhari local community who are magnificently coexisting with the wilderness. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Fern Hotel. an Asiatic Lion

Day 12: Sasangir-Diu (B/-/-)
visit asia - tours to asia Drive to the tiny Portuguese influenced island of Diu (3hours). En route visit Somnath, the famous Lord Shiva temple wonderfully located facing the Arabian Sea. Stay at Radhika Beach Resort on bed & breakfast for two nights.

Day 13: Diu (B/-/-)
visit asia - tours to asia Today visit the 16th century Diu Fort, St. Paul and St. Thomas Church. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Diu.

Day 14: Diu-Bhavnagar (B/-/-)
Drive to the fortified city of Bhavnagar (5hours), now a flourishing port on the Gulf of Khambat.On arrival check-in at Nilambag Palace. During the afternoon you will visit Takteshwar Temple and a local market. Overnight stay.

Day 15: Bhavnagar (B/-/-)
Full day excursion to Palitana, the summit of majestic mount Shatrunjaya crowned with 900 temples, each rivaling the other for beauty and magnificience. Overnight at Nilambag Palace.

Day 16: Bhavnagar/Mumbai (B/-/-)
visit asia - tours to asia After breakfast transfer to airport for morning flight to Mumbai. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Ramee Guest Line hotel. Overnight stay.
