Day 01 Depart on scheduled flights from Heathrow

Day 02 Beijing (L) On arrival in Beijing, meeting with our representative at airport and transfer to your hotel in city centre. Visit to the famous Tiananmen Square and Chairman Mao’s mausoleum. Exploration of the Forbidden city with its spectacular court yard and magnificent palaces. Overnight in Beijing at the 4 star Peace hotel.

Day 03 Beijing (B/L) city tour with guide including: The prestigious Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple with many Buddha statue. Afternoon visit to the stunning Ming tombs and the Sacred Way with stone animals and warriors guarding the entrance of the tombs. Overnight in Beijing at Peace hotel.

Day 04 Beijing (B/L) Visit to the Summer Palace which was a holiday retreat of many Emperors, enjoy a leisure walk along the romantic Kunming lake and a visit to the Silk market. Enjoy an evening acrobatic show. Overnight at Peace hotel.

Day 05 Chengde (B/L) Car transfer to Chengde and visit to the Great Wall on the way. Afternoon arrival in Chengde and enjoy the serene local gardens and temples.

Day 06 Chengde (B/L) Visit to the 3 Chengde great temples and afternoon return to Beijing. Overnight at Peace hotel.

Day 07 Yichang (B/L) Transfer to airport for flight to Yichang. On arrival, meeting with our guide and enjoy a city tour including visit to the three Caves, Chinese Dolphin and YiChang museum.  Evening transfer to a 5 star Cruiser.

Day 08 Yangtze Cruise (B/L/D)  Transfer by bus to Maoping harbour to visit to the dam construction site. Return to the cruiser for lunch and continue sailing through the beautiful Xiling Gorge. Enjoy greeting party on board by the Captain.

Day 09 Yangtze Cruise (B/L/D) Morning arrival at Badong County. Visit to the famous Shenlong Stream. Lunch on board and from the ship’s platform, enjoy the spectacular scenic view of natural wonders along the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Free evening and dinner on board.

Day 10 Yangtze Cruise (B/L/D) Morning arrival at Fendu caves. Transfer by bus to the Ghost city to visit the 27 old temples and the statues representing the “hell”. Lunch on board. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the guide’s introduction of the local history. In the evening, enjoy a farewell party on board with the Captain.
 
Day 11 Chongqing (B/L) Morning arrival in Chongqing, Visit with guide to the Goose peak, the Old city and the artist’s village. In the afternoon, transfer to airport for flight to the ancient Capital Xian. Visit to the City Wall and the Wild Goose pagoda. Overnight at Jianguo hotel.

Day 12 Xian (B/L) Full day visit with guide to the hundreds of Terracotta warriors, the bronze Chariots and Horses. Overnight in Xian at Jianguo hotel.

Day 13 Shanghai (B/L) Transfer to airport for flight to Shanghai, the exciting modern city of China. Transfer to your hotel in city centre. Visit to Yuyuan garden and enjoy a leisurely walk along the Bund. Overnight at the 4 star Holiday Inn Downtown hotel.

Day 14 Shanghai (b/L) Full day visit to the 19th century Jade Buddha temple, boat cruise on Huangpu river and Shanghai sightseeing. Overnight at Holiday Inn hotel.

Day 15 Suzhou (B/L) Day trip by train to Suzhou famous for its silk industry. Visit the garden of the Master of Nets, a silk embroidery factory and the hill of leaning Tiger. Overnight in Shanghai at Holiday Inn hotel.

Day 16 Guilin (B/L) Morning flight to beautiful Guilin. Visit to the Elephant Hill and the Reed Flute caves full of stalactites and stalagmites. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the 4 star Guishan New World hotel.

Day 17 Guilin (B/L) Full day boat cruise on Li river along stunning mountain scenery. Overnight at Guishan New World hotel.

Day 18 Guangzhou - Hong Kong (B/L) Fly to Guangzhou and transfer to railway station for a train journey to HongKong. Check in at City Garden hotel. Hong Kong sightseeing with guide including the Peak Victoria and Repulse bay and the Ocean park. Overnight at City Garden hotel.

 Day 19 Departure (B) At leisure or shopping. Transfer to airport for departure.

Day 20 Arrival home at Heathrow.
