Upon arrival at Siem Reap international airport, you will be welcomed by your tour guide and transferred directly to your hotel for check in. Free & easy time to relax after long flights. Evening welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at 5* Borei Angkor Hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. At 8:00 am car transfer to pier where we embark a private boat to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia to see fishing activities and learn about its ecosystem. Return for a guided city tour at The Artisan d’Angkor and old market. Khmer lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon, visit the intricately carved, pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srey – considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and fine details. On to a palm sugar making house before visiting the serene Banteay Samre. Admire sunset over the rice paddies from Pre Rup temple. Evening dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Borei Angkor Hotel.

Leave your hotel before the dawn to see the spectacular sunrise over Angkor Wat towers and their beautiful sunrise reflection on the lotus pond. Return to hotel for breakfast.
Rest of the day is reserved for the visits to the famous 7th Wonders of the World – the legendary Angkor Wat Temple. This incredible complex was built by Suryavarman II in the middle of the 12th century. Continue to unlock the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple where Lara Croft – Thomb Raider was filmed. # Lunch during visits. Afternoon, enter Angkor Thom, the capital of Jayavarman VII, by the impressive South gate. Visit Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces and admire some of temples such as the Terrace of elephants, Terrace of the leper King, Baphuon and Phimeanakas. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Borei Angkor Hotel.

DAY 05 SIEM REAP - PHNOM KULEN National Park (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road ( 01 hour drive ) along stunning rural countryside towards one of Cambodia’s best National Parks known as Phnom Kulen. This hill used to be the ground of the ancient capital city in 802AD - after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. Visit Preah Ang Thom (Giant Buddha statue), a very special and holy place where local people come to pray. On to Toek Thleak waterfall where visitors can relax in Khmer style huts. Lunch at a local restaurant near the waterfall. Back to hotel for some leisure time.
After dinner enjoy Phare Cambodia circus, an amazing blend of traditional and modern theatre, music, dance, acrobatic, juggling and contortion beautifully choreographed telling stories of Cambodian daily life, customs and traditions.

Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road to Rattanakiri ( 8 hours drive ). Lunch en route. On arrival check-in and stay overnight at Terre Rouges Lodge. Dinner at local restaurant.

Breakfast at hotel. A day to explore Rattanakiri starting with a stroll in Ban Lung market where you see local people exchange their products. Continue by car passing by some lush stretches of rainforest along the way to the quaint town of Veun Sai. Here we board a local boat to ride across the Tonle San River ( also called Se San river ) to observe the lifestyle of many ethnic minorities including the Kreung, Lao, and Chinese. We walk around in the village of the Tampaun tribes to learn about their daily activities and traditional customs. We also get to learn about their culture and writing system. Picnic lunch. Dinner is provided at a local restaurant. Overnight at Terre Rouges Lodge.

Breakfast at hotel. This morning we visit the beautiful Yeak Laom lake, a round crystal clear lake created by a 4,000-year-old volcanic crater covered by lush jungle, listed as protected area and is home to many species of exotic birds. Return to hotel for check-out before embarking on another road journey (5 hours drive) to the quiet town of Kratie. On the way, visit Wat Sasar Mouy Rouy (100 columns pagoda) built in 16th century and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Kampi site where we take a local boat to see the glimpses of the critically endangered Mekong Irrawaddy dolphins. From there, we visit spectacular sunset over the Mekong River. Dinner at a local restaurant in Kratie. Overnight at 3* Mekong Dolphin Hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Check out and leave the sleepy town of Kratie then board a local boat (15 mins ride) across to Koh Trong island. We continue by motor-taxi through the sandy path to the village where we take horse cart ride or enjoy some easy cycling adventure around the island. Lunch at Koh Trong. Afternoon, return to the mainland. Continue by car to Mondulkiri (4 hour-drive). Check in at 4* Mayura Hill Resort. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Mondulkiri.

Breakfast at hotel. Today visit to the Elephants Camp shadowing two families of elephants in the jungle. Learn about the elephants, the local mahouts, the forest and conservation projects. This is a unique experience and the first of its kind in Cambodia. Lunch will be provided at the site. Late afternoon, we return to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Breakfast at hotel. By car (6 hours) to the capital city of Phnom Penh. On the way, we stop at rubber plantations in Kompong Cham to learn about the rubber process and visit to ancient Wat Norkor temple. Lunch en route. Evening enjoy a classic Khmer-style dinner at the well renowned Bopha Titanic restaurant. Overnight in Phnom Penh at 4* Sun & Moon hotel.

Phnompenh city tour starts with the Independence Monument, followed by the National Museum, the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculpture and carvings. Continue with the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda which were both built in 1866 under King Norodom. Leisurely drive along the river front to visit Wat Phnom with interesting legendary founding place of Phnom Penh. Lunch during visits.Afternoon visit Tuol Sleng museum, the site of a former high school that was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime. End the day with a visit to Russian market. Evening sunset dinner cruise on Mekong and Tonle Sap river. Overnight at Sun & Moon Hotel.

visit asia - tours to asia After breakfast we head south to Cheung Ek killing fields, the site of a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the Khmer Rouge - killed between 1975 and 1979. Continue by road to Sihanoukville stopping in Kampot, the beautiful & peaceful town of mountain & river landscapes. Lunch in Kampot. Mid afternoon boat transfer to Koh Russey island for 03 nights beach stay at 5* Alila Villa Koh Russey Resort.

DAY 14+15: KOH RUSSEY (B/-/-)
Two days at leisure to enjoy the beach staying at ALILA VILLA KOH RUSSEY on bed & breakfast basis.

Breakfast at hotel. In due time boat and car transfer to Phnom Penh international airport for your flight home
