Day
01
Depart from Heathrow. Scheduled flights to SiemReap.
Day 02 : SIEMREAP
On arrival at SiemReap airport, meeting with our
representative and transfer to Angkor Holiday hotel (3star) in
city centre. Rest of day is at leisure.
Day 03 : SIEMREAP ( B,L ) Visit with guide to the 3 Hindus temples
of the Rolous group: Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei. Afternoon
visit to the spectacular Angkor Wat and enjoy a sunset view
on Backheng hill.
Day 04 : SIEMREAP ( B,L ) Visit to Bantei Srei temple, Kbal Spean
thousands of Linguas. Afternoon visit to Khmer traditional
village and temple of East Mebon, Pre Rup and Srah Srang
Reservoir.
Day 05
: SIEMREAP ( B,L ) Enter Angkor Thom by the South Gate. Visit
to the Bayon, Baphuon, Elephant Terrace, the former Royal
enclosure, Phemeanakas, Terrace of the Leper King, North
and South Kleang and the 12 Prast Suor Phat. Afternoon visit
to the famous Taprohm jungle temple and Preah Khan temple.
Day 06 : SIEMREAP- BATTAMBANG ( B,L ) Early morning transfer to river bank for express boat
across the Tonle Sap lake to Battambang (3-4hrs) Cruising
along the Sangke River and enjoy unspoiled landscapes and
traditional daily-life. Transfer to La Villa hotel (2star).
Visit to the provincial museum, temples of Ek Phnom (11th
C.).
Day 07 :BATTAMBANG (B/L) Visit to local market and car drive to
the temple of Banoun, with its five sandstone towers on
top of the hill and enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding
plains. Visit to Snougn temple and Kamping Pouy reservoir,
an interesting dam and irrigation system constructed during
the Khmer Rouge period. Return to the town and take a walk
to discover its beautiful colonial architecture.
Day 08 : bATTAMBANG - PHNOMPENH (B/L) Transfer by
road to PhnomPenh (291km) with visit en route to Klieng
Moeung historic place in Pursat Province, and the Kampong
Leung floating village. After lunch, proceed to Oudong
mountain to visit the Royal Fortune Hill before arriving in
PhnomPenh . Check-in at Holiday Villa hotel. (3 star) in
city centre.
Day 09: PHNOMPENH - RATTANAKIRI (B/L)
Transfer to airport for flight to BanLung (mon or wed only)
the town of Rattanakiri province. Check-in at Terres Rouges
Lodge. Afternoon visit to the beautiful Yeak Lom lake formed
by volcanic eruption 4000 years ago.
Day 10 : RATTANAKIRI (B/L) Morning visit to the
weaving village at Choeung Phnom and the crystal clear
Lumkut lake and local market, and BoKeo gem mines. Afternoon
visit to LomPhat abandoned airport and SeSan river and the
Charai ethnics. Overnight at Terres Rouges (2star).
Day 11: KRATIE (B/L) Drive to Kratie (285 km) with
visit to Wat Phnom Sambok where you can see the Vietnam
border. Kratie guided sightseeing: the 100 pillar pagoda and
Wat Rokakandal, with a chance to see the Mekong Dolphin at
Kampi pool. Overnight at Santepheap hotel (2 star).
Day 12 : KAMPONG CHAM - PHNOMPENH (B/L)
Visit to Rokakandal centre, an ancient Vietnamese pagoda and
the Chlong old district before transferring to Kampong Cham
(130km). Orientation tour of Kampong Cham with its colonial
charm includes the unique Angkorian temple of Wat Nokor and
the hills of Pros and Srei. Return to PhnomPenh (124km) with
en route visit to Skun district famous for its spiders.
Overnight at Holiday Villa.
Day 13 :PHNOMPENH (B/L) PhnomPenh city tour
includes the National Museum, the Royal Palace, Wat Phnom,
the Central market. Overnight at Holiday Villa hotel.
Day 14:
PHNOMPENH ( B,L ) Visit to the Genocidal Museum Toul
Sleng and transfer to the outskirts to visit the CheungEk
killing field. Rest of day is at leisure. Overnight at
Holiday Villa hotel.
Day 15 : KAMPOT (B/L) Drive south for Kampot. Stop
in Takeo province for en route visit to Tonle Bati, Ta prohm
and Yeay Peou temples. Board a speed boat to Angkor Borei
city built in the 4th century. Visit the magnificent Phnom
Da temple on top of PhnomDa mount, the first work of
pre-Angkorian period. Overnight in Kampot at Borei Bokor
hotel (2 star).
Day 16 : KAMPONG SOM (B/L) Drive through beautiful
forest scenery to the top of Mount Bokor National Park to
enjoy an amazing view on the southern coast. Drive up the
hill to visit an abandoned French hill station, complete
with casino, hotel and church. Pinic lunch on top of
mountain. Drive on along the south coast to Sihanouk Ville.
Overnight at Golden Sand hotel (4 star).
Day 17 : REAM - SIHANOUKVILLE (B/L) Transfer to
Ream national park and enjoy a boat trip to Ream islands
with visit to fishermen village of Phsar Ream (Ream market).
Overnight at Golden Sand hotel .
Day 18 : SIHANOUKVILLE ( B )
Day at leisure to enjoy the unspoiled beach. Overnight at
Golden Sand hotel.
Day 19 : DEPARTURE ( B ) Transfer to PhnomPenh
airport for departure.
